Keeping ED honest Feb2026_20260113_091751_0000

Across the country, schools are facing increasing pressure to limit DEI efforts and dilute historical content. Dr. Chapman will bring her expertise in curriculum development to help us understand what’s at stake. Join us in this hour-long lecture followed by a Q&A session to explore how we can support meaningful, accurate education for all students—and how families and community members can stay involved in shaping what’s taught in our classrooms.

We are so very excited to have Dr. Chapman speak to us on such an important topic. Register for free today—space is limited!
Speaker bio: Dr. Christine Chapman (she/her) earned a doctor of philosophy in instructional leadership and academic curriculum (ILAC) from the Jeannine Rainbolt College of Education at the University of Oklahoma. Her choice to pursue education as a career stems from the lack of representation from PreK-12, through her undergraduate and graduate experiences. In her current role as assistant dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Westminster University, she is devoted to cultivating an environment of inclusive excellence through curricula, programs, policies, and student and faculty engagement. Her research interests include the experiences and perceptions of Black PreK-20 learners within predominantly white spaces.
